Events are priced on a cost recovery basis. In addition to the obvious cost of
the food and wine served, is the cost of insurance and, in some instances,
venue rental. In order to maintain our wine cellar at or beyond current
levels, wines consumed at events will be replaced by wines of comparable
quality.
Advance Deadlines
Many organizations require a non-refundable advance deposit when
booking their facility. As a non-profit organization, SAW can ill-afford to
forfeit such deposits or pay hefty cancellation fees. As a result, many events
will have a reservation deadline anywhere from 10 days to several weeks prior
to the actual event. An insufficient number of confirmed reservations by the
advance deadline may result in cancellation of an event. So please make your
reservations early.
Making a Reservation
Each event is organized by one member of the executive. Inquiries regarding an
event should be directed to the event organizer.
