The reception is at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7:30 p.m. There will be a four course gourmet dinner paired with wines. An exceptional selection of wines has been chosen from our Society Wine Cellar to complement this gourmet menu.

This is THE GALA event of the year for the Society for American Wines and will provide you with an outstanding culinary and wine experience. The evening is a formal affair with black tie or business attire, please.

A brief description of the menu for the evening is:

• assorted canapes;
• roast beets with watercress salad;
• roasted tomatoe soup;
• beef bourguignon;
• strawberry and rhubarb cobbler.

The wines for the evening will include:

• 1999 Chateau St. Jean Cinq Cepage;
• 1999 Kenwood Artist Series;
• 2000 Benziger Reserve;
• 2001 La Jota Howell Mountain Selection.
